If you would like to try your hand at making a web site for your club,
or for yourself, you should take a look at Toastmaster Dan's web site first.
I' am a member of Toastmasters, what is Toastmasters you may say.
Well for one thing, we don't repair those things you may use to brown your bread with. And we don't stand around all day at the bar giving praise to one another.
Toastmasters is a group of people who get together to help each other over come their fear of speaking in public, to commuicate better, to learn the fine art of leadership.

I joined to help me think on my feet better. Since January of 1982. I've been a charter member of The Woodbridge Toastmasters Club..

Woodbridge is a basic Toastmasters club
In the basic toastmasters club, you come in as a guest and we will let you sit in and listen, you can come back as many times as you would like. As a guest you can sit and listen to speakers, And If you want to, you can participate in Table Topic's, where you can speak for 1 to 2 minutes on a subject that the Table Topic Master chooses.
After I had received my CTM, and got into some of the longer speeches I joined
The ACES Toastmasters Club.
.
ACES is an advance club,  for anyone who has a CTM, or higher and wants to improve their skills. If you have long speeches that you can't get done in your home club, or if you want to get the experiance of Distinguished Toastmasters.
An Advance club will help you.  Aces has been an Advance club in the District 46 area since 1983. There are differant levels of experianced toastmasters in club. One member  of ACES Scott Linde went on to become a DTM. One of the projects to becoming a DTM is to rebuild a club that is having problums, or to start a new club.
He had friends at the Brooklynites Deli offered to get a club going in the resturant.
After one year we got big enough to move to a little bigger place. At the Minnie B. Veal Community Center. Becoming of my experiance with some of the administrative areas, and to get a little more help with thinking on my feet I joined this club.

Brooklynites  is a basic community club, like the Woodbridge club.
